Alex joined the firm as a partner in 2016.  He concentrates his practice on representing real estate, local government and small business clients, with a particular emphasis on Indiana tax sale law, in both litigation and transactional matters.  Drawing on experiences in government, in-house counsel and law firm settings, Alex delivers an efficient, goal-oriented approach to tackling the myriad of issues presented by a given matter or project.

Alex graduated from Miami University – Oxford, OH, with a B.A., summa cum laude, in Anthropology before matriculating to the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he earned his J.D. and served as an editor of the Indiana Law Review.

Alex is a frequent writer and speaker in the area of Indiana tax sale and sheriff sale law, presenting on these topics at numerous educational seminars and conferences.  Alex was the principal drafter of recent tax sale legislation (SEA 531) which passed into law following the 2015 session of the Indiana General Assembly.
